1.  When do I use the Direct Call calling feature? When do I use the World Call calling feature?

The Direct Call calling feature is the primary calling feature to use for international calls, the call rates are slightly cheaper and it is more convenient to use. But Direct Call only works within the following 44 countries. If you are calling from a country that is not listed below, you would use the World Call calling feature instead.

Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, UK, USA.

 

2.   If I decide to continue using Call Global after the free trial what should I do?

If you would like to recharge your account open Call Global, select the Direct Call Feature. Once you are on the Direct Call feature simply select the recharge button.
At this point you will be redirected to callglobalapp.com/recharge. Once there login to your Call Global account, enter in your billing information and the amount you would to add to your account.

 

3.  Do I need to sign a contract to use Call Global?

Absolutely not!! There are no contracts or commitments.

 

4.  So what do I pay for?

You simply pay for the minutes you use.

If you create virtual phone numbers, you will also be charged the monthly fee for that virtual number.

 

5.  How do I get started with Call Global?

Simply download the application for free within I-tunes. Once downloaded, open the application. Upon opening the application there will be a short form for you to fill out. Once you fill out this form you can begin calling immediately.

 

6.  How do I use Direct Call if I live outside US?

If you live outside the US and would like to use the Direct Call feature you absolutely must enter your location in the My Current Location page. This can be found on the My Account tab.

When you are dialing in the Direct Call feature you must use the normal format you use for an international.

For example if you are calling from Argentina to the US you need to dial 00 + Country Code + Area Code + phone number.

If Direct Call does not work in your country you can simply use the World Call feature, which works from anywhere in the world.

 

7.  Does Call Global work from everywhere?

Yes. Call Global will work from any place your phone has a signal.

 

8.  The Direct Call feature does not work in my country, what do I do?

If the Direct Call feature does not work in your country then you can use World Call instead. World Call can be used from absolutely anywhere in the world, and the pricing is nearly identical to the Direct Call feature.

 

9.  When traveling internationally will I still be charged roaming fees from my carrier?

Yes, your carrier will still charge you roaming fees. If using our service in another country please make sure you change your country location in the app, ("My Account" tab).

 

10.  How can I find your rates to a particular country?

Once you download the app go to the "info" tab for a complete list of all rates.

 

11.  Does Call Global work on iPod Touches?

Yes, with the exception of Direct Call using the regular phone line, which is the only calling feature which does not work for iPod Touch users. This is because Direct Call uses phone lines to connect calls.

 

12.  If I use the Call Global App while out of the country will my cell carrier charge me roaming fees?

Yes, your cell carrier will charge you roaming fees, but the VOiP calling feature can be used to place calls and avoid roaming charges
